Recently, I was reflecting on the Book of Esther, particularly Chapter 1, verse 14, in the Message translation. It struck me how the King relied on his counsellors for guidance before making decisions. The translation emphasised that these advisors had access to the King, which is quite significant. Their advice not only influenced his actions but could also touch his heart, giving them a powerful role in his decision-making process.
This concept reminds me of Romans 10:17, which tells us that faith comes from hearing the word of God. The words we hear can shape our hearts and guide our choices.
